Michael Snider

Michael is a rising third-year medical student at Duke University School of Medicine and the recipient of the Snyderman/Moore Research Award for the 2023-24 academic year. His research will focus on the use of stereotactic body radiotherapy versus surgery for medically operable patients with early-stage non-small cell lung cancer. Working with the Center for Personalized Health Care, Michael hopes to investigate the emerging role of personalized genomics in cancer care. Michael completed his BS in Quantitative Biology and Neuroscience at UNC Chapel Hill.
