Gabrielle Lee, Trinity ’23, is a senior at Duke University majoring in Psychology and minoring in Biology and Chemistry. She aspires to pursue medical school after graduation and plans to remain involved with the Center for Personalized Healthcare during her gap years to learn more about how to improve health outcomes with an understanding of the effects of social determinants and a focus on the patient as a human being with a story. She hopes to gather more insight into the bureaucratic aspects of healthcare systems and how medical paradigms can be re/deconstructed to realistically meet the patient’s needs through more feasible steps. In her free time, Gabrielle is involved with the Duke Disability Alliance Executive Team, Duke AMWA, and Crisis Textline. She also enjoys the viola/piano/guitar, music composition, aviation, and sewing.
