Christina is a third-year medical student at Duke University School of Medicine and one of the recipients of the Snyderman/Moore Research Award for the 2024-25 academic year. She is interested in pursuing a surgical career and has particular interests in genetics, personalized health care, and oncology. She has a research focus on genetic mutations in medullary thyroid cancer. Working with the Center for Personalized Health Care, Christina hopes to examine the potential of AI as a patient-directed tool for addressing postoperative medical complications and sociological barriers to care. Christina completed a B.S. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at Yale University.
